Medicinal Uses:

• The plant traditionally utilized as an antipyretic and insecticide.

• Flowers are valued as a stimulant, expectorant, aperient, diaphoretic, insecticide and emmenagogue.

• Leaves are considered useful in chronic rheumatism, psoriasis and other chronic skin conditions.

• Bruised leaves are applied locally for snake bites.

• It is also used to treat asthma and respiratory disorders.
