• Bark decoction is used for cough, fever, asthma and jaundice.

• Decoction of wood is given orally to treat malaria.

• Leaf extracts are used to treatment of allergy, inflammation, scabies, dermatitis and anaemia due to pregnancy.

• Root extract along with the combination for other herbs is used to treat herpes.
