  • Medicinal Uses:

    • Traditional medicines in India utilized the plant for treatment of snake bite, diabetes, lungs disorders and blood diseases.

    • Leaves are extensively used to reduce inflammations and are also chewed for relief in toothache.

    • The plant juice is used in fever and phlegm, and the paste is applied on the feet during the rainy season to prevent cracking.

    • The decoction of the root is utilized in anaemia and cough.
